Our Air BnB hostess recommended this local restaurant for our last night. These owners know how to run a good restaurant. The welcome was warm, friendly, welcoming and we were immediately made to feel at home. We were lucky to get a seat as there is obviously a lot of return custom and one should book . The food was made from quality ingredients, was excellently cooked, and pleasantly presented. The owners have a hands-on presence and Madam was around to all the tables as well as keeping an eye on the operation as a whole.The service was exceptional in that our waiter who was charming, witty, friendly, and comfortably attentive, looked after us and kept us engaged. We had a lovely final night in Switzerland.Just one important caution. Switzerland is outrageously expensive. Make sure that you know the price before ordering anything in the country.
We had dinner at the Restaurant Kronenberg on a Sunday eve. It was very busy and the waiter warned us it might take a bit longer. This was our first visit and we were very pleased. We followed the recommendation about the daily special. Excellent fish and as a starter a nice salad. We liked the white spanish wine which the waiter recommended. All in all, we will get back and hope we encourage other to follow. A really nice eve together with my wife. Well done to the team at Restaurant Kronenberg. Note: quality has it's price but we felt this was worth it
Man wird mit den Worten : "schön , dass sie da sind " begrüßt und ist fast etwas verwirrt ab so viel Herzlichkeit. Nach feiner Flädlisuppe und prima Tagesempfehlung Entercote gab es noch ein Caramelköpfli. Eine solide frische Küche ( 7 frische Gemüse als Beilage ! ) und ein sehr aufmerksamer und fleißiger Service durch eine Top Angestellte sind genügend Gründe , das Lokal weiter zu empfehlen.
Kleine Karte mit bekannten Gerichten. Die Chefin weiss was die Küche speziell zu bieten hat. Tagesangebot und Empfehlung sind top. Der Chef am Herd, da weiss man was man bekommt. Mit Herzblut gekocht, schön angerichtet. Nachschlag wenn nötig liegt drin. Weinkarte mit vernünftigen Preisen. Raritäten bei der Chefin erfragen. Lohnt sich ! Rundum zufrieden.
