Restaurant la Carcasse

Nice restaurant in the town of St. Constant. We were a couple wanting to try some tartar supper meals. The restaurant itself is a house converted to a restaurant. The ate upstairs in a small open area with around 20 other spaces. The tables are very tight leaving little room for accesses in and out. The menu was very nice and ample choices from steaks, fish and tartar. Our choice was made before going to take advantage of a special price on these meals. We tried the trio which consisted of beef, salmon and tuna with an abundance of French fries. We did order an entrée of calamares. All was very good and quantities were more than adequate. It was difficult to eat all and my wife could not. So...

We tried this little gem on the South shore with a last minute reservation. No room the week prior but found place for the two of us this week. Cesar salad, filet mignon, melon salad, tuna tartar and chocolate chees cake fore dessert. All the food was very good. The cheese cake was just too much. A little too rich. They could modify this to make it a little lighter and a better end to the meal. Don't get me wrong, it was very very good. Problem is that unless you are a glutton it is too much. Maybe keep it on the menu but add something lighter with some fruit. The ambiance was nice but we had to focus to hear each other. Lots of noise...but hey.....it was positive noise!

Quaint and stylish , exquisite first rate service with smiles , this lil gem has the right ambiance for business , friendship or dating I was really impressed ... BUT ... call ahead or reserve it's very popular! Food on lunch menue is quite good , I had melon salad with bavette ,,,, just wonderfull !!! I'm not a big lunch guy but this was great !!! My wife had salade with chicken she enjoyed very much ... On the terrace it was a wonderful Friday luncheon with my wife . Lunch menue items range in the 15$ per plate ... I recommend highly ... oh and BRING YOUR OWN WINE !!!! That's a bonus !!!! I will be back , just charmed ...

The restaurant is in an old house that has been modified only slightly to create a warm atmosphere. The service is excellent. Knowledgeable, efficient staff that serves in a very friendly manner. Excellent menu choices for all food tastes. The steak eaters enjoyed their meals immensely. My shrimp risotto was seasoned perfectly. The calamari was crisp and freshly prepared. We have already thanked our son and his wife for introducing us to the spot. It was wonderful and we will return with friends. Réservez une table maintenant

So rare that I go to a high end restaurant and say, that was excellent . It always seem like there was something missing. At La Carcasse, everything was there, service, attention to detail, quality of the food, we had a great time and we will go back.

Small restaurant and cosy. Excellent dining experience but parking restraint. Reservations a must. Recommend first service, second is very noisy, depend on the preferred ambiance.

Overall excellent experience. Bring your own wine with excellent cuisine and service. Everything we have had at this restuarant was delicious and well presented.Cannot go wrong.

Amazing Tartares and their steaks are to die for. And it's a byow on top of it all! So nice to have something like this so close by.

Delicious and different. Great atmosphere. Great food. Quaint. Love it. New location is beautiful. Definitely recommend to try.
