Wir waren schon eine Weile nicht mehr im Continental und haben uns entschlossen, das Mittwochsmenü zu probieren. Wir waren angenehm überrascht von der Menge an Essen (meine Mutter hatte Mühe, ihr Dessert zuzubereiten, nachdem sie die Vorspeise und das Hauptgericht gegessen hatte). Sie erhalten drei Kurse für 18. 50 chf und es lohnt sich. Die Vorspeise ist eine Wahl der Suppe des Tages oder des Salats (die Salate waren beide Tage etwas unterschiedlich) das Haupt- und dann das Nachtisch. Es gab paniertes Hähnchenschnitzel mit Spaghetti und Tomaten-Basilikum-Sauce als Haupt- und Apfelkuchen zum Nachtisch am ersten Tag und Lasagne, gefolgt von Brownies am zweiten.Wir saßen am ersten Tag drinnen...
We visited this place several times this summer end july, beginning august. We had been here numerous times the years before so we know it quite well, me myself had been here for probably 35+ years with the dutch dude who owned this place and even before. The first time we visited this summer i convinced my kids to try the tartare. (due to the corona virus situation there was only a small selection of what they normally offer Sandra proposed that they could get a kids version of it which was a bit smaller so we accepted it. It was so good the few times afterwards they took the normal dish. Kids want to come back with christmas but that damn virus... we'll be back next summmer or winter : but...
Wir waren mit 16 Gästen aus der Schweiz und den USA zum Silvesterabend auf dem Continental. Die Kommunikation mit Sandra und Paul für die Buchung war sehr einfach und zuvorkommend.Das Essen und der Service waren ausgezeichnet. Wir hatten 2 Gäste mit Lebensmittelallergien und Paul nahm sich die Zeit, um mit ihnen vor dem Abendessen die Optionen zu besprechen und nahm die entsprechenden Unterkünfte vor.Wir hatten eine wundervolle Zeit und können dieses Restaurant nur empfehlen!Vielen Dank an Paul und Sandra
We went to the Continental with a party of 16 guests from Switzerland and the USA for New Year's Eve. Communication with Sandra and Paul for the booking was very easy and accomodating. The food and service were excellent. We had 2 guests with food allergies and Paul took the time to discuss options with them before the dinner and made accomodations accordingly. We had a wonderful time and can only recommend this restaurant! Thank you Paul and Sandra Réservez une table maintenant
Food was excellent and you can feel that the person in the kitchen loves his job. On the other hand we were not welcomed by the waiter that seemed annoyed... It took 2 hours for this lunch. Thank God we had time.. I have never seen someone walking so many kilometers. Not efficient at all. Maybe we ended up on his bad day.... We might give it another go.. But just for the food, definitely not for the service.
I had a wonderful experience at Restaurant Continental. The atmosphere is great, the food is delicious and reasonably priced, and the staff were friendly. I went with friends and we were all very impressed. I ordered the entrecôte as my main dish and it was divine!
