Restaurant le Goosto

I can only review lunch which tends to be very busy as, as far as I can ski, the ski instructors, mums and dads, and kids all end up having their lunch at "Goosto". It doesn't look very inviting from piste side, with the bright purple signs, but the interior is warm funky and modern.I've eaten there 3 times (not all the same week!) and I have only had the Burger "Made in Savoie", but it is absolutely fantastic. Very original and it looks amazing...Basically a home made burger, melted cheese and lardons, pinned between 2 perfectly golden round potato rostis, and with a mini basket of proper chips (the owners are Belgian-the know how to make a good chip!).Make sure you book for lunch if there...

Nous avons testé le restaurant Goosto de l'hôtel en terrasse pour le déjeuner.Cela a été une très mauvaise expérience.Nous avons commandé 3 potages légumes aux dires de la personne qui nous a servis. Il s'agissait plutôt d'un bouillon pimenté et en outre pas adapté pour un enfant.Nous avons ensuite pris 3 "penne bolognaise" , nous avons eu des tagliatelles et surtout il s'agissait d'une bolognaise sans viande, en revanche la sauce était très liquide, voire de l'eau..L'addition était en revanche en rapport avec le design de l'hôtel, 70€, une arnaque.Personnel peu sympathique, vous n'avez pas quitté encore la table que votre chaise est donnée à un autre client.

Situé près de l'unique remontée de St. Martin pour partir sur les 3 vallées, ce restaurant d'hôtel propose une carte standard. La charcuterie sur planche est grasse et sans saveur. Le Burger savoyard est bien présenté avec ses rosties en guise de pain mais cela reste un burger.A éviter sauf à être coincé là!

Delicious savoie burger and Belgian meatballs, reasonable kids menu, quick and friendly service, and incredible view from the deck. A great place to have lunch or meet up for a beer at the end of a long day skiing.

Worth the ski down, friendly service but the food was fantastic, good value I would stay and eat there next time
