This is one of maybe two Indian restaurants in Thun, so if you're in search of a good Indian curry, one doesn't have many options here.This restaurant is opposite the main train station and away from the town Centre, so the outside atmosphere is not as vibrant, and almost isolated. One is welcomed by numerous friendly staff members, and there is seating inside and outside the restaurant. We visited on a Saturday night, so we ordered from the Ala Carte menu. In my life I ate so terrible food. I enjoy Indian cuisine a lot and ate in various restaurants in various countries already (Berlin, Koln, Warsaw, New Delhi). I didn’t know you can be Indian and cook so bad. I ordered palak panner and could taste only salt. The other dish was with Korma I could taste only sugar, no Indian spices aroma, at all. Naans were also bizarre, never ate something like this, with some strange herb although it should be plain naan. I am surprise it works at all serving so terrible food. Such a shame for Indian culinary output! I wouldn’t eat it next time even if gratis.
