Restoration Bistro went in for the very 1st time today and let me just say that even if the food was bad (just to be clear it was delicious) I would go back just for the service alone. Upon entering I was greeted by both Payton and Gabby who were very friendly and welcoming. They answered all my questions and gave excellent recommendations. Next I had the pleasure of meeting Kendall who wasn't even my server, but made a point to greet me and even engage in my conversation. The Manager Paige was awesome as well. Going in, the atmosphere was crisp and inviting. Greeting at the door was less then. How many? Sit wherever you like. The pictures and preconceived notion was definitely not delivered. While the waitstaff was kind, they were not in tune to theestablishment. They lacked knowledge of the menu and personality. The food was excellent. We had basic American plates, sojudging was simple. I'm from out of town and rushed in at 8:40 and apparently their kitchen closes at 8:45. All 3 girls greeted me with smiles and said no rush. The kitchen staff didn't bauk at me placing an order. Everyone from the back of house to the front was relaxed and made me feel as if I was there 2 hours prior. Thank you for such a nice ending to a long day! I really enjoyed the laid-back yet upscale vibe of this restaurant. It was busy during lunchtime, but not overly crowded. I appreciated that they use breads from Real Time, a fantastic sourdough bakery located nearby. Our server was friendly and accommodating, even though my companion and I stayed for hours chatting and laughing.
The food was excellent. Best fried green tomatoes I've ever eaten. Our waitress did a great job with our older, particular crowd. We ordered a variety of items from appetizers to desserts and everything was enjoyed. I must say I was pleasantlysurprised to find such a jewel and can't wait to go back.

In town for a pageant, stopped by this old times bistro. Spinach dip was so creamy, mimosa carafe so yummy, pork chop so moist! Definitely recommend this place for a date night or girls outing. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
