I've been visiting The Rolled Oat for almost 2 years now and I've never been disappointed. The service is always outstanding, staff is always so friendly and helpful. I live about an hour away and have called many times to reserve vegan cupcakes and they always have no problem doing so. Cupcakes are amazing by the way I had six pumpkin spice cupcakes as my birthday "cake" last year and I can not wait until fall season returns. They also have vegan muffins and an amazing vegan panini sandwich among many other vegan and vegetarian options. I would highly recommend checking this place out whether you are vegan or not if in the area.

Walked into this establishment and was greeted with deafening silence. There was a table of 4 to 8 ppl who the server [and seemingly owner] knew intimately - they too fell silent. I am a person of color with striking features and I don't play the race card nor do I think my looks leave one speechless but it was as if a whale had sprouted legs, sprinted over from Bay of Fundy and entered by crashing through the door. Needless to say, I did not stay. All fluff aside, Rolled Oat Cafe is small and stuffy and it could be the circumstance but I found it hard to breathe once inside.

I visited here each day of my three-day trip to Wolfville. They have many vegan options, including vegan muffins (and gluten-free ones) that seem to walk out the door every morning. The food I had was delicious (peanut sauce tofu wrap, veggie wrap, vegan burger). The service was decent. The location is lovely, and I understand they are moving to a larger location soon. This place should be open past 3:00 every day!

I found this cafe by asking a local -" where is a good place to eat"? It is very small and has 2 tables outside. The special was gone (1 o'clock) but peanut curry soup on rice was available. We opted for a sandwich- on wholewheat- bacon, avocado, lettuce, creamed cheese and tomato. Pear on the side. I also had a fruit smoothie- berry- very good-no added sweetener.

There are only 4 tables inside and it's a bit of a student hangout. Staff was unapologetic, but luckily the food was really good. Lots of vegan and gluten free option, great prices. Nice find!

Service was quick and friendly and the muffin was tasty, but , Awful coffee, It was bitter and sour. This is so often the case in Nova Scotia, they do like very bitter coffee so it seems

I ordered the big breakfast and it tasted great! The ingredients seemed to be very fresh. The service was slow but was polite.

My overall impression of this Cafe is a nice atmosphere but the wait is long and the food is good, not great.
