The ladies at Rose Donuts will impress you with their delicious donuts and stellar customer service. I love this place. I had a temporary work gig in mission valley and during that time I would often stop by Rose's in the morning for some coffee and a raspberry donut. One of the ladies got to know me and once she saw me in line, she would start to grab what I wanted while I waited in line- raspberry donut, coffee and just the right amount of creamer. Every so often I would change it up and get something different. What was really nice was that they had such a wide variety of options beyond donuts. I looked up the best donuts in San Diego, and this place came highly recommended—and for good reason! The staff here is incredibly friendly, and their donuts and pastries are absolutely amazing. They have the perfect texture and just the right amount of sweetness, all made with care. I can't wait to return for their breakfast sandwiches!
We visited on Easter night because we had a guest who loves donuts. We didn't have high expectations, just grateful to find a donut shop open so late. I must say, the donuts were absolutely delicious and fresh! It was clear they make a lot throughout the day; they definitely didn’t seem like they had been sitting around. Yum!
The selection of classic donut varieties is truly mouthwatering. A box of a dozen donuts costs $17, and my family devours them quickly! I typically prefer yeast donuts, but after trying the red velvet cake donut from Rose, my opinion may have changed! I will definitely be keeping an eye on this place when I’m in the area. Yummmm! I'm a donut lover on my bones, and that's not disappointed! So soft, fresh and tasty. The sweet diner atmosphere and the sweetest staff ever. Such a great experience.
