Rotisserie St-Hubert

We arrived around 5:00 on a Saturday for a group of 7 (4 adults and 3 kids). Place was not to busy so figured we would be in and out fairly quickly. We were promptly seated and hostess left us with menus telling us waitress would be with us shortly. After 30 minutes no waitress had come to our table even though other people at tables around us who had arrived after us had received their food. Finally went to see hostess to tell we had been waiting for 30 minutes and ask if there was a waitress designated to our table. No apology but said she would look into it. We generally love to go to St. Hubert's especially in Quebec but this one did everything wrong. We placed our order, my husband ordered off of the daily specials listed on the chalk board. When he received his order, we looked at it and said...to each other that doesn't look right. We asked the server and she said oh they probably just did it a different way. When she came back again we challenged her again. She then said yes it looks like it wrong, I'll adjust your bill. There is nothing more frustrating than driving a few miles to a restaurant's takeout counter, ordering something simple, and then returning home to find that something is missing from the order. This has happened to me twice now. The first time, I called the restaurant to let them know and they said they would come back to retrieve the missing item, but they never did. However, after writing a review, the manager did offer me a fair compensation. The second time this happened, I decided to drive back to the restaurant and after waiting for 20 minutes, I was offered a $3.50 credit for my next visit. We arrived at the Vaudreuil-Dorion location around 3pm, so it wasn't busy. The food was delicious, just as you would expect from a St. Hubert's (a chain restaurant in Quebec and Ontario). Both my husband and I ordered the rotisserie chicken, fries, coleslaw, bun, and of course, sauce. For dessert, I had the chômeur pudding which was very sweet and delicious. We have tried a competitor in the area and JUST like St Hubert better. Nothing fancy but feel good food. Good choices at a reasonable price. If you like chicken, offer many different chicken choices. St-Hubert is a stable in Quebec for roast chicken. The menu itself is varied, but most dishes are exclusively chicken-based. On our last visit we tried their new Piri-Piri chicken and rib combo plate, and a club sandwich. Good as always, and the prices aren't...bad.

you can't go wrong with a st. hubert. the location here is not far from the autobahn and when we went the service was good. our baby has decided to try the chicken engraving and could not get enough.

St-Hubert is a classic rotisserie chicken restaurant. They even have chicken skewers. They also have great Poutine. Definitely recommend this place.
