Royal Tandoori Restaurant

good place in this nice city that most looks like a neighborhood of the big Vancouver. According to the advertisement of the restaurant, he is first in nine slots! the place is quite simple. the service was very nice. the menu is quite varied, starting from the beginning you choose the protein, beef, lamb, chicken u camarã0, among other options, and here comes the question! Mild, medium, hot or super hot!!!! I chose the mild and my son and husband by the medium. I tasted the option of my son as soon as the dishes arrived. well, I almost descended the entire bottle of cold water that was the table! Order the famous bread! it serves to accompany the sauce that is well fed. If you want to try the most spicy options, do not forget to take a fire extinguisher!

I hear and read so much great view about this restaurant , I always keep it open mind ,try it out first ! that is my personally opinion , Wow ! what a disappointment !!! Friday night ,the place is all most EMPTY! (That tell you some thing !? ) the place is not too big ,the decor is so old and dirty ,like the 60s ,need a update !their style of cooking is North Indian,their famous Nan bread is excellent ,Mango Chicken is too sweet ,portions are very small ,there is no quality or quantity in the food ?may be one of those weird off night ,very Mediocre ! ,There is a lot clean ,great Indian Restaurant around Main and Fraser St ,in Vancouver , service is o.k ,would I came back here again ? Na ! Na! Na!

I've been wanting Indian food for a few weeks now, and we finally managed it. We had not tried Royal Tandoori before and are very happy we did! We just finished the Veggie Korma, Butter Chcken! Lamb Vindaloo and some veggie pakoras, and it was all delicious. I'm not really a huge fan of lamb, generally, but theirs is wonderful. The vegetables in the korma dish were still firm and not overcooked, and the sauce was lovely and creamy. We will definitely be going back. Well done, and thank you for an excellent meal!

This place is really like you are on Indian time ( if you plan on having dinner at your home and do a takeout; your guest will have to wait for hours for food ( they tell you 20mins but it's like an hour ( the owner; he tells you it's food industry) come check out the kichen to see how busy it is!. You think they will apologize or if give you discount because they are wayyyyy late! Nopa!. Worst service EVER !!

I've been ordering from this place for couple of years but stopped a month ago. The food quality drooped to a point that I would not order again or recommend
