The restaurant was bustling, with a duo performing live music, but we were told there would be a short wait of about 20 minutes. This time allowed us to observe the dishes being served, each one looking more delicious than the last. The staff were incredibly friendly and worked hard to find us a table, and after a brief wait, we were seated. The atmosphere was lively, filled with a diverse crowd of all ages, all clearly enjoying themselves. They offered an impressive selection of beers, fantastic specials, and a well-rounded menu. Fantastic pub with plenty of seating options both indoors and outdoors. The menu is diverse, featuring a great selection of craft beers and wines. The staff is friendly, though they were quite busy, which resulted in a longer wait for food and drinks than I would have liked. The live music from a local duo was excellent, creating a vibrant pub atmosphere without overwhelming us with loud volumes. The quality and portion size of the food exceeded my expectations. While it may not have the most picturesque location or a sea view, it stands out as a cut above many other pubs I've visited. Keep up the good work! Cheers!
There were two of us dining, and our server Jackie was absolutely fantastic—friendly and professional. She was knowledgeable about the menu and eager to make our experience pleasant. I ordered the Thai mussels, which were flavorful, though they could have used a bit more heat; however, dried chili flakes are available if you prefer some extra spice. The chocolate mousse was delicious, but it resembled more of a cake filling with cream rather than a traditional mousse. Still enjoyable, just don’t expect a classic mousse texture. Overall, it was simple pub food done well. We’ll definitely be back!
Great pub, plenty of options to sit inside or out. Varied menu and good selection of nice beers and wine. Friendly staff but very busy, so wait for food and drinks was a little longer than desired. Live music from a local duo was awesome, really added to a great pub atmosphere and didn't over power us with too loud music. Food quality and quantity was above what I expected. Might not be in the prettiest location or have a Seaview, but a cut above most pubs I've been too in BC. Keep it up. Cheers Réservez une table maintenant
I stopped by late Friday night on my way back from the island, hoping for something delicious. I ordered the steak and shrimp, which came with mashed potatoes and veggies. I’m definitely planning to return with some friends! The food was amazing, and the band was quite good as well. It reminded me of the good old days of enjoying a night out at the pub. I’ll be sure to take photos next time. Highly recommend!
We drove past this restaurant several times, and the parking lot was always full. My wife noticed it and saw there were over 300 high reviews, so we decided to give it a try. Even though the parking lot was busy, we were seated right away. After we ordered our drinks, they arrived quickly, and our meals followed shortly after. We will definitely stop by again when we're back in the area.
The restaurant was absolutely packed, but the staff still managed to deliver friendly and efficient service. The food was fantastic—I had the fish tacos and quesadillas, along with some chef's special prawns—and the atmosphere was great in this charming small pub. I brought my family from the city, and these young people really showcased what the valley has to offer!
on late Friday evening on the way back from the island on the look for something tasty. had steak and shrimp with potatoes and vegetables. I'm going back with friends. the food was great, the band was pretty good. it made me miss the good old days to hit the pub for a night. I'll take photos next time. highly recommended. We happened by this local pub on a Sunday morning and we’re absolutely delighted. Their brunch did not disappoint and their fish and chips was exactly what we were looking for. On top and amazing food and some of the friendliness service on the island they had live music that fit the atmosphere. Would defiantly recommend
