Over forty years since High School a dozen of us from far and wide met here for dinner, and we were not disappointed. Marco and Tony excelled themselves and nothing was too much trouble. We had four courses of excellent food - beginning with zucchini flowers, followed by a delicious risotto, chicken wrapped in prosciutto for mains and vanilla bean panacotta with fresh strawberries for dessert. Service was wonderful and very discreet. Great food, great service, great value and wonderful company- a fabulous night!
This place is a jem, it is located in the suburbs of sydney, My dad lives in sydney and he introduced me to this place on a lunchtime meetup, i hadent had breakfast so we both had the baked eggs with a soy coffee, i couldnt complain about anything. The next day my partner and i went for a late breakfast again, we had the buttermilk pancakes and ham brushetta (eggs benny) this was by far the most reasonable, yummy, homemade, made with love food! This place is the best!!!
I received possibly the worst service I have received in a cafe in Sydney here. The older gentleman who owns the place basically growled at me. His son seemed unhappy about taking my order. This place runs mostly because of its proximity to the school nearby. But there are much better cafes in Willoughby. Go to The Tricycle Cafe for proper service. And Little Giant Roasters or The Mowbray for good food. Never going here again. Réservez une table maintenant
Recently visited here for a family lunch. Have to say that the afternoon was really enjoyable with great food. We had garlic bread and arancini for starters and had a mixture of kids and adult meals along with desserts and coffees. No plates were left with any food on them - that generally says something - the food was great! Friendly service and good food - what more could you want? I recommend you try it.
My wife and I picked this licensed restaurant as it had good reviews. It did not disappoint! The waiter was very accommodating when we first booked and friendly and helpful with our selections The food selection has great choice and is very good. The prices were quite reasonable and we had an enjoyable meal with our 5 year old granddaughter who ate every bit of her penne bolognese!
I frequent Rubino's for coffee, lunch, and dinner. The warm and friendly service from the father and son team always makes me feel welcome. The food is consistently delicious for all meals, including breakfast, lunch, and dinner. I also highly recommend the specialty dinners paired with wine, scotch, and more.
I've been here several times with family; extended family and by myself. I've yet to be disappointed or seen anyone i've dined with be disappointed. The food is absolutely delicious and the coffee is perfect. You can't go wrong with Rubino's. Réservez une table maintenant
