The carryout meal we ordered tonight was really disappointing. It arrived within 30 minutes, but unfortunately, it was not hot or fresh. The fish pakora was lukewarm, very salty, and only consisted of 5 pieces in a small greasy paper bag with a few bits of onion, without any salad. We also did not receive the extra sauce we had ordered. The popadoms tasted like they had been fried in rancid oil, but the spiced onions were lovely. Surprisingly, the garlic naan did not taste like garlic at all. The main courses and rice were decent, but overall, it was not worth the £40 we spent. The food at this restaurant is amazing and the service is always friendly and efficient. We are fortunate to have this wonderful place in our village and we visit regularly. The monkfish Malibar is outstanding and the pakoras are excellent, but honestly, I have never had anything but delicious food every time I have been there.
The spiced haddock starter was excellent, and the prawn starter was also superb. Both the Lamb Rogan Josh and lamb korma were very good. The Pashwari naan and saffron rice were also very good. It was great to hear that you are staying in Kilmacolm.
I have visited 3 times so far. Food assortment is much smaller than the large curry houses but the quality and flavour is superb. Without doubt my favourite curry house in the West of Scotland. Worth travelling for.

never had anything but excellent eating from here. sauces and meat dishes are freshly prepared and full of taste. also in portions are good. will soon be back to taste the restaurant.
