If possible I would have done zero stars. I tried to eat there today at around 1:15pm but there was a very rude lady wearing a formal red shirt that technically did not want to provide service to me. As I enter the the building I was expecting the typical just one today or to dine in or to go but instead the lady address me in a very diminishing way and asked how can I help you? And rolled her eyes as I took a minute to process her manner and the question I was not expecting. I do know if it was due to my accent(I speak Spanish as my first language) or due to my pride month t shirt in pro of the LGBTQ comminity or because I am Hispanic but she became very impatient wating for me to tell her...
Let's start by saying the staff is amazing, they're always so friendly and kind. The food is amazing. The green chili is so good and I haven't tried a single dish that I haven't liked. There's so many options to choose from. We have been going here for a very long time, and even through the construction because the food is totally worth your while. There's parking in front and also additional parking in the back. Don't let the construction keep you from visiting this place, because it really is a gem and worth a visit!!
Salsas is 5 stars all around. The food is delicious, nothing weird or wild. Just the comfort food you crave. The staff was so kind to me and my husband. Our twins decided that 35 minutes was enough time for us all to eat before melting down and the staff was beyond patient, kind, and let us know that the kids weren’t bothering them at all. 12/10 will go back to Salsas (even if it’s only to-go).
We love shrimp cocktails... This is the first time in my life where we could not enjoy it.. there was an extreme amount of jalapenos like I never had seen before.. we were first timers and last timers it seems like the waitress had an attitude from the beginning. My husband and I both feel that this was intentional. Just saying two people felt this way the only two at the table Réservez une table maintenant
Overall poor experience, the food was bland and not traditional at all. Also felt it was very inappropriate to charge for chips and salsa when we did not order them. Seems like they are nickle and diming anyone who does come in as they have run off their clientele with low quality food and bad service.
