"Just want to say that we thoroughly enjoyed our couples date night. There were 6 couples and we had Laurie as our waitress. She was attentive and her timing was great. We all had awesome meals and the drinks we terrific! Certainly will be doing...this again!"

I tried their winkles escargot ... absolutely outstanding. I would have been happy with two of these appetizers... incredible! The caesar salad was excellent. I should have known better than to order the gnocchi... it was humid and they added too much flour so the gnocchi...were heavy... lovely tomato sauce... eggplant parmesan was a disappointment... the eggplant was cut super thin, then double dipped in bread crumbs so a little hard in itself ... several layers of hard eggplant did not make for an enjoyable dish... I had a few bites and saved the rest for my husband. lol
We have been there several times before. This time didn't go that well. The only beef they had on the menu was 36.00. Way too much. We ordered a lettuce salad and got a cole slaw dressing. Yucky. They corrected that error and didn't charge...us for the salads but I don't think that should have happened in the first place. I don't think we will got back there again. It is not worth the effort. There are lots of reliable restaurants in Port Colborne.
for the 3 protocols of the stage. meal no longer prepared in the house. the auberginenparamesan was hardly recognizable. fat in deep friteuse must be changed in any case. but then who makes chefs auberginen parmasen in a deep frit. I know that's not how the owner was taught. no cappunccio. we have no envelopes. they have either an expresso cappuccino machine or they do not. Hot chocolate comes in mixes, not cappuccino.
We arrived on a Friday evening without a reservation we were very lucky to be seated. The food was excellent as was the service. A wonderful evening and we will be back with reservations on our next trip. We were recommended to San Marco...by Judith at Talwood Manor.
