Sanders Fish Market

I purchased a 2-pound bag of PEI mussels and requested ice to keep them fresh. I live about 20 minutes from the store and went straight home to store the bag in my refrigerator. However, the next morning, my refrigerator smelled terrible (like bad fish). When I opened the net bag in the sink, I found that 80% of the mussels were open and the odor was unbearable. I had to put on plastic gloves and dispose of the entire bag in our outdoor garbage bin. I have been buying PEI mussels from various stores for years, and I've never had an experience like this before. That’s my complaint. Fantastic seafood restaurant! We dine here frequently and absolutely love the Chilean Sea Bass, crab, lobsters, and side dishes. They offer a nice selection of beers and also sell local vegetables and snacks. The service is excellent, thanks to the friendly staff, and there's easy street parking available.

This is a *proper* fish market. Called by for lunch as we were passing through the area. I don’t think I’ve ever had a crab sandwich with as much crab the shrimp sandwich was just as loaded. So fresh too. Great service, with the sandwiches made to order. Definitely recommend.

The Arctic char is the best fish I've ever had! The stuffed clams are incredible, and the crab cakes are unbelievably delicious! It's a bit pricey, but it's definitely worth it if you're looking for fresh, delicious seafood! Réservez une table maintenant

Best lobster rolls in New England. We do a lobster roll tour every summer (we’re from the South) and after countless rolls over the last six or so years, Sanders remains our favorite.

I visited the restaurant for the lobster roll, which was fantastic—truly a standout dish. However, it was the crab roll that truly impressed me.
