"The food was pretty bad, Service not good. Noisy. It was a bad experience over all. I wouldn't recommend it at all. If you want a view of the Bay take a picnic lunch and sit on the grass."

we chose to eat here after viewing their website. When we went to order several " current" website offers, we were told that they had finished over a week ago! Not good enough.My partner ordered the Roast of the day. It was ok ... But he was looking forward to the roast veg,only to find that he got potatoes in their jackets.I ordered fish, which was well cooked. BUT .... it was meant to come with a orange fennel salad. Instead I got a heavily dressed pile of rocket, with a few slices of fennel, and I had to search to find a few tiny pieces of orange.I would never recommend this place to anyone!
Local residents, and three of us visited for an evening meal. We were seated but had to ask for a menu. Several menu's had to go and ask for The Seniors Menu and The Nightly Specials. All seemed rather disorganised. We ordered our meals and went to the bar for drinks. My Senior's meal of roast lamb was OK but went cold very quickly. Friend who ordered a Chef's Special enjoyed her meal. The other Senior meal, lambs fry, was totally inedible. We should have sent it back but my friend did not want to. It looked like a piece of carpet!We will NOT return!
Four of us ordered the Seafood Basket for lunch as it sounded great on the Chef;s "specials of the day" menu. Unfortunately when it came out it was plainly obvious that the oil they had fried the chips and seafood in was clearly in need of changing (probably several days ago) and the calamari rings and prawns were the darkest possible shade of brown and quite stiff and hard. The fish was certainly no better and the chips were luke warm at best. I have been to this establishment a number of times over the years but l won't be back. Réservez une table maintenant
The noise level was unbelievable, kids crying, kids jumping and thumping in the play area, there was a live band in the room next to us. It was so load that we couldn't hear normal talking. The food was pub food, not great quality but too expensive for what's the we got. I will not be coming back. You have to line up to ; order; get a drink; or pay. Great place to watch the sun sink into the sea. Don't come here unless you have 8 year old kids.
To say this place was Average is actually a compliment.....It is NOT a place to have a relaxing meal. ....No ambiance.. ...but plenty of noise...and screaming kids...The food is very disappointing..... even for Pub food .......Chcken Pama......bland ... unappetizing.... served with cold soggy "chips" ... and poor excuse for a Garden Salad.... definitely not worth the $25 ...! Avoid...
The staff were a little slow to serve.The garlic bread is a must not to get as it was dry as and did not have a lot of taste.My wife ordered the chicken prosciutto and I had the grilled gummy shark with smashed chat spuds and vegies.The fish was tasty but the dish was ruined by the 2mm of butter soaking into everything on the plate.Won't be back in a hurry!
The food is standard pub grub. It can be variable being the kind of place where the chef may not stay for too long.It's strength is the views from the balcony and an indoor playground for small kids.Pricey for what it is.
