This place is hit and miss with unfortunately a couple too many misses. I've had some great feeds but it's hardly ever open! Today is Easter Saturday and we thought we'd come to the beach for some hot chips by the water. But it's shut! It's closed ever Monday even if it's a long weekend. You can wait for a good hour or more on busy days. The food is good but it's not at all reliable.
Had fish and chips and it was pretty average and relatively expensive. The fish was soggy and only freshwater species were on offer, basa or barramundi. On another occasion I arrived 5 mins before closing time and was told they were no longer serving. The service was abrupt and unfriendly.
One of the best views for breakfast, grab yourself a takeaway coffee, a bacon and egg roll (or my preference, the BLAT) and stroll across the road for one of the most beautiful beach views in NSW. Friendly staff, fresh ingredients, lovely coffee. The makings of a memorable breakfast.
The meal and coffee we had here was pleasant enough. Barramundi and salad, and barramundi and chips plus two coffees was a bit over $40.00. The view out to Malua Bay is beautiful. The only other fish on offer was basa, and pizza is only available at night. Réservez une table maintenant
Stopped in for our ritual at Sandy Foot Cafe to grab think shakes before heading back home. As usual great thinkshakes. Though wondering if it's changed hands as we didn't get our usual bubbly smiles.
The staff here are rude and the service terrible. I would not go back. Each time we have been here the staff have been rude and despite giving it a few tries over the years service has not improved.
Yesterday we ordered fish and chips, the fish was burnt and mushy inside, $12 a big steep for ****, it's a shame because we just moved into the area and would have loved to patronise local business.
Great Bacon, Egg and Cheese toasted sandwiches. Very helpful staff. Second visit we got a large chips (which was a very generous serving) Réservez une table maintenant
The food is quite good quality but I feel a bit expensive. Have not tried their Pizzas. It is a popular take away shop on sunny weekends
