This charming cafe by the beach is always bustling, so it's best to place your order in advance. During our last visit, we attempted to buy some chips only to be informed of a 40-minute wait! However, if you are patient enough to wait, there are both indoor and outdoor seating options, as well as covered picnic areas nearby on the beach with a playground for younger kids. It seems that this cafe has evolved over time from a simple takeaway joint to a proper cafe. While I now appreciate the wonderful coffee they serve, I do miss the original chips and lower prices. Nevertheless, it remains a popular spot that everyone enjoys visiting.
We happened upon this little gem as we were driving around trying to find somewhere away from the main drag to support post-bushfires. The couple running this cafe were delightful, smiling and so, so helpful. Hubbie and I had the most amazing breakfast wraps and...our friends had bacon and egg rolls. Then, not that we needed any more food, because the wraps and rolls were generously filled, we sampled the home made banana bread because it looked so good and it was! To my absolute delight the coffee was also excellent. You could sit either inside or outside. We sat outside and enjoyed the sea views. This is a beautiful little cafe.
On our recent walks between Denhams Beach and Surf Beach, there is a nice little coffee stop situated at Surf Beach in an apartment complex. Indoor and outside seating is available, although the outdoor seating is very limited. The coffees we have had recently have...been quite satisfactory and last time we visited, we had a sweet treat, which was very nice. The service is prompt.
We took a drive down to surf beach outside of Batemans bay stop for a walk along the beach we got coffee and toast sandwiches from this takeaway sat on the seat and enjoyed it view beautiful area nice and clean in the shop the...service was friendly price right and tasty and fresh. After them having a hard summer definitely worth a coffee break.

Conveniently located at one end the beach. Nice hot food and pastries. Fish and chips were tasty. Good coffee too. Came on Easter Sunday after hours but they stayed open a little longer to make food and drinks. The place was busy but things went smoothly with a bit of patience. Friendly service. Tables and chairs inside and outside.
Not one to write negative reviews. But was simply astounded at the zero customer service displayed. The guy that took the order for coffee was not friendly or helpful. He appeared to be the owner and was obviously happy to ride the increased wave of...holiday traffic on the South Coast. Would definitely not recommend.
We had a great experience at this restaurant. The food was delicious and the staff was friendly. We shared a seafood basket for a light late lunch, and also enjoyed two tasty lattes.
Hidden and peaceful. A charming little takeout spot with delicious food. We enjoyed coffee along with a serving of fish and chips, all of which were very delightful.
