Don’t be sucked in to read these reviews as they’re dated months apart, they do tens of thousands of meals in between these reviews, and no one bothers to write anything about the perfect meals. The lads in work all love it there. And I get the Singapore vermicelli it’s amazing, rivalled only by actual restaurants in Singapore I think !!! My misses is off there now, I only came on trip advisor to get the number, And seen the reviews. We eat Al around the world and don’t mind spending £50 plus per main when dining out, and I’ve reached 25 stone in my prime !! so my recommendation isn’t from someone that doesn’t know a thing about food.
Ordered 4 meals tonight and yet again one of the bag of chips and a portion of mushy peas was missing. Every time we order from here we always have to check the bag to make sure every thing is there. Unfortunately tonight one of our meals included a omelette and we thought the chips were in with the omelette and didn't realise the chips were missing until we got home. Can't be bothered calling to complain anymore as all they do is apologise and tell you to come back to get your missing items, which I have done before but really can't be bothered anymore and am now just going to take my business elsewhere.
I understand in the current situation that things are more difficult than usual. But to enter an empty store, stand and wait to be served for a few minutes, have two phone orders come in and then be asked to move outside whilst they are served, okay whatever fine. Then as they leave others push in front so I still can’t come in. Finally get in, and I’m asked to leave the store for phone orders again! Even one of the staff said **** hell he’s in and out like a yo yo. And then to try and blame me for walking away! Wish you luck in current pandemic looks like you’ll need it with such little common sense.
During lockdown I wanted a change from spending yet another evening preparing the family meal!! Decided on a one off chippy tea. Was so happy that this place was open for takeaways!!..£17 got us 3 fish and chips some peas and curry sauce. Couldnt wait to tuck in! So disappointed-dry shrivelled black and grey chips obviously made with poor quality old potatoes, over cooked strange tasting fish. Honestly awful..

As is the normal in these challenging times got fed up cooking day in day out for the family and a takeaway once a week is normally a treat! Tried here as it was local to Ashurst and the food was fine. Tasty duck and pancakes, chicken curry and egg fried rice, salt and pepper chicken and barbecue ribs. I wouldn't say it was like for example, Peacocks quality in Ormskirk but we all enjoyed it.
Food was clearly microwaved from the day before as it was luke warm round the edge of the tub and stone cold in the middle! Dangerous reheating rice, and disgusting to serve a meal thats clearly not been made fresh! Money back with no apology at all! AVOID
Ordered salt and pepper ribs Friday night very disappointed got them home they were dripping in oil no flavour never had this before and I have been using this chippy for years
Ordered all was made fresh an is always ready on time 10 out of 10 chippy Lovely staff excellent food get what u pay for large portions best chippy in Skem

Chippy tea night..thought we'd try here...fish ,nothing special just OK.. savory cakes and chopsui rolls lovely.. Mike's chippy 100%better
New management now its much better. Lovely fish and chips and gorgeous onion gravy great improvement
