The former Waldhorn in Tübingen Bebenhausen is no longer available. The one Michelin star was lost and now, after the change of pawn, the inn has renamed Schranners Waldhorn. Upon arrival you can assume warm light and a pleasant ambience through the many windows. The fact that there is nobel inside shows a big bouquet at the entrance. Decorative items set in scene and later noble wine coolers at the table are missing as little as white fabric tablecloths and fabric napkins. Customer service begins in the booking process, not only when entering the restaurant. A reservation requested in writing. He received an answer (maintained) full of typing errors (also on his own name) and with reference to a date I had not requested. There was no reaction on written request, whether the correct date was checked. That's better! I'm just evaluating the service. I can't give any information on food. Since the operator(s) did not comment on any of the other reviews, it is assumed that there is no interest in (constructive) criticism. I therefore also save the effort to introduce concrete approaches to counteract such an evaluation by process optimization.
Very friendly service and exceptional food. We are still students, but were also very welcome there. For us the evening was something special. Usually it would have been outside our price class, but we had received the evening as a voucher. For a special occasion it is definitely also recommended for students, and as a gift everything! Greeting from the kitchen was for us like a separate gang, as good as he was.
For an Advent dinner we have reserved a table and experienced an exceptionally beautiful evening: starting with the warm welcome followed by a wonderful, delicious menu. A menu that we can customize according to our wishes. However, the service was outstanding: attentive and present; extremely competent and individual we were advised in wine tasting.
