Overall I think it was ok. The flake I had was super flakey and cooked just perfectly. No one wants a super tough fish meat inside. It was nice and soft and flaked off very easily, which is exactly how it should be. Unfortunately the fried prawns were undercooked and I actually ate it. I had food poisoning for the next day or so. So it was a no no for that. The gentleman was quite friendly at the counter though. So I'm willing to give this place a try again. If I could give this restaurant a zero, I definitely would. I stopped by during my lunch break and was thoroughly disappointed. The food was horrendous, drenched in oil and simply inedible. Now I understand why it wasn’t busy during the lunch rush. There’s no excuse for such low-quality food. I really should have checked the reviews before going. It's clear that the owner doesn’t take pride in the quality of the food or in customer feedback. This was my first and last visit.
21 March 2020 Bought some fish for me and fish and chips for a kid that was with me and my mate, delicious!More than a month ago ..Popped in for lunch as I was using the EV charging bay. They didn't sell coffee but we got a couple of burgers and a drink ... plus chips x 1. 3 of us sat at one of the tables... the back of the chair was covered in tomato sauce? yuck. Anyway the food was well presented in recyclable containers, polite and helpful service. Thank you.
The food was overly greasy. I ordered a piece of flake and two potato cakes, and by the time I sat down in the food court—just 20 steps away—the oil had already soaked through the brown paper bag. Just looking at it was off-putting. The taste was nothing but oil, with no flavor whatsoever. Ugh... I won’t be coming back! Food rating: 1.
