Shakey's Pizza Parlor

I have walked past this place for almost 37 yrs and never went inside.. when i read about mr grimes oh sorry elon wanting demolish it and build more un needed buildings i finally went in.. it was about 1:30 pm lunch hour had finished an hour before i had lunch. And there dishes every were it must of been l Kinda busy.. one busser she was nice but visible tired..them were alot dishes from the construction workers working on a new mid rise building. The host cashier wasnot in a warm mood guess she tired as well.. i paid 11.00$ which is cool for buffet i recommend u get there before the lunch rush begins afterwards they didnt really restock with fresh hot food except pizza which still taste the sameas i remember from shakeys in pasadena . This shakey has maintain it self thru all the many changes this area has seen. Used to be alot male hustlers here due to the old resturant on highland and santa monica called Author J"s this was kinda like a place for daddies to bring their hot new boyfriend of 18 yrs old and show em off. Lol This shakeys will be missed so many changes. And its called progess. I THINK ITS SAD THAT WEST HOLLYWOOD HAS DESTROYED MUCH OF HERHISTORY. THE CITY COUNCIL OF W.H. should be ashamed of what they have done. VISIT SHAKEYS BEFORE IT GONE.. THE FOOD IS FINE IF ITS FRESH..

Came here for the first time. Love the pizza here. The chicken and mojos were delicious. Food is always fresh here and served hot. Customer service was excellent. Very friendly staff. Restaurant was very clean. Tables were clean. Only reason why I gave this place a four is because this is a family restaurant and some of the music that was playing had improper language. Not suitable for young kids or even myself for that matter. If they were to improve that thisrestaurant would get five stars. I'll definitely try coming back.

Absolutely awful. Pizza is my favorite food and it?s hard to disappoint me. Everything tasted undercooked. Sauce tastes too seeet and the cheese is just low grade quality. I do not reccomend. Go anywhere but here.

What an amazing place! The atmosphere, the food, the game room and the staff are all too notch! Couldn't have asked for a better experience. Do you remember Shakey's? Cause it's amazing!

Smaller parking has all normal sharks stack a lunch is usually what we have got enough seats and some window benches can be warm in the summer full sun, except the end units
