Shandar Tandoori Indian Restaurants

I've been feeling a bit disappointed lately.I used to love their food, and I've ordered take out from Shandar Tandoori for almost 3 years. I don't know what changed, but lately the food has dramatically dropped in quality. For example, butter chicken used to be creamy, delicious and there would be enough meat chunks to have leftovers the following day. Recently, butter chicken has been watery, flavourless and there are literally 4/5 chunks worth of meat barely enough to feed two people Please keep the quality up!

My favourite Indian restaurant on the northern beaches. A long standing establishment, the food is always fresh, full of flavour and so so tasty. Yellow daal, samosas and masala parantha are some of my favourites. Tip: avoid long waits for delivery and always go and “pick it up” like my parents always did before delivery became a thing. Then you’ll always get hot food, much faster!

as always, fantastic kitchen, and a firm favorite of ours. fresh food is constantly available. although it is highly recommended to always add 15-30 minutes to the pick-up time they mention.

I had a delicious dinner here. the nets were great and even the cucumbers and mango cutney were amazing. also the authentic marsala chai loved. great small place and great service!
