I ended up at Shane's because the place I wanted to go started closing at 4 during the week. Big mistake. Ordered 2 All Americans, a Cowboy burger and 2 sides of fries. Got the order home, about a mile away, and discovered the fries were cold. Not lukewarm after trip type cold but cold. No warmth. Opened up the burgers and low and behold, no Cowboy Burger. I really don't feel like driving back and complaining so I'm doing it here. I included a pic of the fries that I won't be eating.
We also sampled the BBQ chicken and BBQ pork from the platter. Unfortunately, both were just average; I was hoping for more flavor from the BBQ pork, but it was quite bland. The chicken tenders were a disappointment as well—overcooked and lacking in taste. As for the service, it was decent, but the overall cleanliness of the restaurant left much to be desired. There was trash on the floor, and several tables were still dirty after previous customers had left.
Shack sampler plate and homemade peach cobbler Best BBQ I highly recommend. Wow.. okra was okay Coleslaw was prrrfect. Rib s was tender, moist, fall off da bone delish. . BBQ sauce was outstanding flavor for every palate, kids will love, not too spicy, consistent texture , Kudos to the chef, cook, prep, delivery, owner. IPortions were large QUALITY Ingredients, clean. This place always has a line from the restaurant all the way to the i10 Freeway. Insanely busy place with 1 person working doing everything. I had a 16 piece wings with honey hot and blue cheese for lunch. hit the spot! Ordered a 1/2 rack to take home. Guy said said they would be good for dinner later on and they were also . Definitely visit again, hopefully there isn't a line to the Freeway. Réservez une table maintenant
Had the half rack platter and it was good. The hush puppies are delicious and I was pleased with the meal. The Texas toast was just buttered bread though, very disappointed with that. It wasn 't at all toasted. The pork was tender and the bones came out clean. The BBQ sauce was more vinegary than I like, I tend to like sweeter BBQ sauce, but I would order from here again.
very pricey, but I knew that going in. very disappointed. asked for sauce on the side , but that was ignored the ribs were loaded with barbecue sauce . pork was dry. potato salad tasted store-bought. wasnt about to pay $6 for a brownie or $3 for a cookie. will not be going back and will not recommend. still trying to find good barbecue
The delivery may take some time to reach my location, but it's definitely worth the wait! The flavors are incredible, and the BBQ chicken is the best I've ever had. The cornbread and hushpuppies also come with a surprising kick that enhances the overall experience. I highly recommend this restaurant!
The food is truly delightful, and the portion sizes are quite generous. The peach cobbler is fantastic, with a delicious homemade flavor (it might actually be homemade, but I'm not certain). I also really love their shredded pork BBQ fries, which are generously topped with plenty of shredded pork. Réservez une table maintenant
Been coming here for about 10 years now. Very convenient while working on campus. Had the BBQ Nachos. I usually get these. This time they forgot at add the jalapeños. Really wanted to buy a t shirt from the display at the entrance but was informed thatthey do sell the shirts. Bummer.
