Shiawase Sushi - Réservation de table

I was looking for a Sushi place to have dinner. I like visiting places that have +4.5 star reviews that I've never been to before. This sushi place is a little out of the way and Google Maps leads you into the wrong side of the strip, but it's easy to figure out. I walked in with my date and we were the only people there. Not a great first sign but I've been to weirder places. It's not all you can eat (AYCE), but hot diggity does the sushi and appetizers get you going. Wakame and sunomono were great. Long time customer here and it’s usually excellent. Tonight wasn’t the best. I called in for a simple pick-up order at 6:30 for 3 people. I was told it would be ready at 7:50 (It’s Valentine’s Day, so that’s understandable. I arrived at 7:55 and needed to wait 5-10 mins longer. Again, my order was pretty small. We have now been ordering from them for over a year and have never once been disappointed. Their food is extremely fresh. The staff is so beyond kind and accommodating. I was the first time here today. I like sushi. They are delicious. Good size, very good taste. They use the purple rice for sushi. And it’s good. I have a good experience. And recommend this place. I would give Shiawase Sushi 6/5 if I could. It's a hidden gem that deserves more recognition. The food is top quality, the atmosphere is filled with character, and the price is extremely reasonable. Who doesn't love purple sushi? Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Honestly, I don't know how it got such a high rating. The sushi is not fresh, taste are covered by the spicy mayo sauce, too much rice, definitely not authentic sushi style.
