This restaurant has a solid reputation, and it shows. The staff is highly attentive and professional, and the drinks and cocktails are quite good. The service is exceptional. However, the food is somewhat inconsistent. While some menu items are outstanding, others lack seasoning and spice, possibly to cater to local preferences. Kebabs, which can be tricky to perfect, sometimes end up overcooked, resulting in tougher chicken and beef cuts. Overall, it’s a great spot for a group dinner, thanks to the lively atmosphere, excellent service, and reasonably priced food for the area. This was my time trying Afghanistan cuisine. The place is lovely! Decor is beautiful , with rugs and beautiful paintings it was very palatial . To my surprise, they had a great bar cocktail was amazing! I had pomegranate martini ! Food was so good. Hummus was smooth and creamy! Falafel wrap was served with housemade sauce probably green Chilli) it was delicious. Chicken kabab was juicy and well cooked as per my husband. Eggplant and pumpkin side was so fresh! They also serve Turkish coffee.. we ended our meal with that! Would come back again and definitely recommend! How did I forget to mention potato pawkawra that was the star!
We were in search of an affordable restaurant that offered a wide variety of good food and a quiet atmosphere suitable for a business meeting. This restaurant exceeded our expectations! The service was outstanding. Since we weren't familiar with Afghan cuisine, we chose the Sultan's Feast for four, and everything was absolutely delicious! Even the eggplant, which I usually don’t enjoy, was fantastic. Just a heads up—a Feast for four can easily feed six people! This restaurant has definitely earned a spot on my list of go-to dining places.
We drove two hours just to try this place, and I have to say it did not disappoint! Everything from their appetizers, to the dessert was just so delicious and fresh. The staff were so hospitable, and really made us feel like we were family. I would 100 percent give this place a try, and will be visiting again soon! The restaurant features multiple levels, so be prepared for some stairs. The pawkala was excellent, and the kebabs were abundant with generous portions. The drinks were delightful as well. The overall atmosphere was cozy, but the stairs might pose a challenge for those who are handicapped or elderly.
The restaurant is charming. I was pleasantly surprised by their excellent bar—my cocktail, a pomegranate martini, was amazing! The food was delicious as well. They also serve Turkish coffee, which we enjoyed after our meal. I would definitely come back and highly recommend it!
