Came for some night vibes and food. Service was good and the food was decent. I think I just have a slight issue in terms of value. $6 dollar baos are just abit too extreme for me. Nevertheless flavors are there but expectations are set high based on pricing. Shojo pig Bao and bulgogi Bao both had great balance. Pickled veggies, umami sauces, and meat were cooked perfectly. Shojo burger with egg was a slight disappointment. It's abit messy to eat and had me question why it went into a Bao rather than a traditional burger bun. If the Bao bun was bigger, I think it would offer a better vehicle for the burger. The mushroom truffle noodles were nice. Flavors are rich and fresh. One note was that...

I visited this restaurant on a Friday night after a long drive to Boston. I decided to order takeout through UberEats because they offered a variety of dishes with a modern twist. I am giving this place one star less because my takeout order took a long time to be prepared and the packaging was filled with plastic, showing a lack of consideration for waste. Despite it being a busy Friday night with good weather, if they are overwhelmed with orders, they should consider pausing takeout services. I am giving this place a second star less because while the food had unique and tasty flavors, it was overly salted to the point of resembling fast-food levels.
THOSE WINGS AT @shojoboston thoo Chinatown, Boston Highlights: wutang ribs sweet and sour wings. You really can never go wrong with ribs and chicken wings at any modern style Asian restaurant Drinks were bomb, got the bai Bai mule, Muay Thai and mai Thai. Muay Thai comes with a super cute panada glass. Other things that were just meh include the charred greens and mazemen. Mazemen was too soft and not enough flavor Topped it off with a lemongrass coconut pannacotta, their only dessert. I'd say all in all, come for cocktails at their happy hour and order a few bites
We went here not quite sure what to expect. It looked like a trendy restaurant bar set up. Its located in Chinatown section of Boston. The waitress explained the food is served family style. We ordered about 8 items and it fed 4 of us. So be sure to ask how big the portions are. Being an Asian place I did not know if they had Guinness, but they had a Japanese Stout that turned out to be very good. Pics of food added and will add names of dishes. I Definitely do not regret going as we had a good time. Réservez une table maintenant
Loved the ambiance here! The service is a little slow and you may get your drinks after your meal. But the flavor of the food is great! Definitely get their Wu-tang tiger style ribs, mushroom mazemen, and chicken waffles. But skip on the bao, as the pork was a little dry. The drinks are pretty unique. I got the tea garden and it was super tasty.
Amazing taste. One of the best places I have eaten in Boston. The duck fat fries were crunchy and fatty. The Thick Chic Bites were so good, great texture, flavor. The Bao was a bit lacking in content, nothing too special I felt, but still good regardless. The place tends to be full so do reserve in advance. A must try for sure.
Mmm their ribs are so good! The bao tacos were really tasty too! The plates are definitely on the small side, so it?s fun to order multiple and share. It?s got a bit of a funky vibe which is fun. Definitely not your traditional place in Chinatown.

What a fun place! Came here for a friend's birthday and loved it. The service was quick, and ambience was perfect. The food was very tasty if you like Asian fusion and pub food. The bartender was also quite talented! Would recommend visiting!
