They hire young students as servers so have patience with them. Family-friendly. Parking: Parking is easy. Dietary restrictions: Be very explicit about any allergies you have. I have a nut allergy and once they served pesto to me anyway. Be diligent here. They're young and overwhelmed with customers so be sure to pay attention. The coffee is strong and the food is local. The food is local... I don't see how this can be with quinoa, agave, coconut and so many other exotic ingredients. I think it is simply a way for the upper class hippies to feel better about eating at a chain diner. They advertise they do good things. Which makes me sceptical. I absolutely adore Silver Diner and P.K. is easily one of the top waiters I've encountered at any diner. He provided excellent recommendations and was incredibly kind. The service was fantastic, and I dined in for lunch. The average price per person was between $10-$20. I highly recommend Silver Diner for vegetarians, as they have a variety of clearly labeled vegetarian options on their menu.
Some of the best food I’ve had in awhile! Service was great we had server P.K my friend and I wanted quarters to play music and he gave us two free of charge!
