I love visiting the breweries around STL. This was by far the worst. Waited forever for someone to acknowledge us even though there were three people behind the bar hanging out and each one passed by at least 4 or 5 times. It was honestly like they tried on purpose to ignore us. Then, we finally get someone to acknowledge we’re there and by the WAY he apologized, he KNEW we were there the whole time…”sorry, so sorry you had to wait.” Which tells me, again they knew we were there and were just hoping maybe we would go away? So we finish our first beer and again…..no one acknowledged us….we saw them talking to their coworkers and walking by. Not pouring any drinks, cleaning, etc. We paid and l...
The menu at Six Mile Bridge Brewery is very limited, especially since they were out of chicken breasts and fish. The salad choices were just Caesar or a side salad. I ordered chicken strips and fries, with all sides priced separately. My chicken was overcooked, and the fries were so large they could easily be shared by two or three people. The Nashville Hot sauce was disappointing. While they made sure everyone had plenty of beer, no one refilled my water or asked if I needed more once my cup was empty. I visited with a work group, and the only upside was that the place was fairly empty at 1:50 p.m. I didn’t choose the location and wouldn’t recommend coming back.
We ended up here after our flight was cancelled. Wow, did we hit the jackpot? The staff is amazing. AJ Sam were fun, personable kind. The beers so many different styles to choose from, no matter what you like. And the foooooood. No one talks about the food at breweries. This food is not brewery quality it is special. If we lived here, we’d be visiting every week. Next time we’re in STL, this will be our first stop. Thank you times a million to AJ Sam for making us feel comfortable understanding when we were going through the motions of cancelled/delayed flights! Bryce Ashley Stone
What a fantastic brewery! Kid friendly, just as a note they only have the one high chair for now. That being said, everyone was super awesome to pass the chair around! The beer was fantastic! Also Sharon the brewer from Tampa is fantastic! Super knowledgeable and amazingly friendly! Our group of 10 people went there last night. The food and drinks were fine. Except one staff member at the order counter kept on saying we're going to charge you 25% tip/service fee if you have 12 people or more. We order our food at the counter, order our drinks and pour our own water and bring it back to table ourselves. Minimal service. In the end we were forced to pay 25% with only having 10 people.
The wife and I stopped by here to burn some time between flights after our connection was cancelled. The bar staff AJ Sam were amazing and the beer/food is top notch. The Irish Red and seasonal double hazy IPA were my favorites. Highly recommend and will definitely stop by this place next time we’re in St Louis!
Great beer. And the food is fantastic too. The Country Grammar sandwich is incredible. The pork burgers come with a delicious mustard. The mac and cheese is awesome—I ate it before even remembering to take a picture. Update: It just keeps getting better. Also, the staff are really friendly.
Killing time last Friday, and stopped in for a beer and lunch. Nice place, solo bartender running like crazy (doing a great job), and tasty food. My wife got an orange chicken bowl, and daughter in law had a fish and chips bowl. Beer hit the spot
