Snapper Jack's Taco Shack

We decided to visit this location because we had been to the one in Camarillo and it was amazing, so we had high expectations. Unfortunately, this location was like the lazy, inferior version of its counterpart. The food was served cold - the rice, beef, and tortillas were all cold, which was disappointing. A cold corn tortilla is something straight out of a sad story. They also got part of our order wrong, but they did fix it without any issues. Although we didn't ask them to fix the cold food, they probably would have. Taking that extra step to ensure that the food is hot would have made a big difference in our dining experience.

This restaurant is a good choice if you're looking to fill up on food. They serve large portions of baja flavors that are somewhat overly Americanized. The salsa selection is decent, but the proteins are bland and they use a lot of cheese. It's a nice place to relax and enjoy some chips and salsa in a laid back atmosphere.

I ordered fish tacos and a quesadilla with a horchata at 10:00 PM. Unfortunately, my guacamole and sour cream were missing from my $13 quesadilla, but they were quickly provided after I inquired. I also ordered a warm horchata for an additional $3.25. The food arrived within 7 minutes, but it was served cold.

the breakfast burritos served throughout the day W/option to turn into the side of the fried beans (or full beans) Spanish rice. but could be warmer. large custom sauces like habanero, azteca green sauce, cilantro, mango salsa, classic roasted red sauce and more. get the halibut tacos with crispy dishes! Great place. Great enviroment. And good heck why can't every restaurant have a salsa bar like that one?? As I placed the chile verde burrito in my mouth, my taste buds began to sing praises from above. It was indeed taste. Highly recommended. Great spot.

I really like Snapper Jack's. The food is really good! I've never been disappointed with my orders, and I'm always met with a friendly employee to take my order.

Snapper Jack's food is decent it's not going to blow your mind, but it won't make you mad either. The counter staff is usually very pleasant.
