I gave the atmosphere five stars, because it was very nice and nicely lit, and very inviting when I walked in. I gave the food one star, because the chips were good. However, the prime rib sandwich was extremely bland and unseasoned, tasting like it had been literally marinated in water. As well, I asked for provolone cheese and was given mozzarella instead. This charming little sandwich shop caught my attention! At first glance, the menu appears extensive, but it turns out to be quite straightforward—just meat and cheese options. I ordered what I thought was a Reuben, but it turned out to be just corned beef and cheese on wheat bread. The place was noisy, and I misheard the staff when I asked about the 1,000 Island dressing, so my sandwich ended up being quite dry. Was out and about yesterday and found Snarf's sandwiches a local spot that completely has us wanting to come back.Snarf's has all the traditional sandwiches you'd expect and also some impressive combinations.Snarf's has plenty of seating and service was quick when ordering. Their soft drinks are locally made and enjoyed the cherry soda.Great experience and will be back, give them a try!
I don’t understand the bad reviews. I am in town from North Carolina. We try to always eat at places we can’t get at home. I hate roast beef and I don’t eat steak sandwiches. Fiancé ordered the French Dip. Best sandwich I’ve ever had. Absolutely delicious. Pickles were delicious. Different than just a regular pickle. Macaroni salad and potato salad were good too.

I ordered a 7 Italian (salami, pepperoni, capicola, and mortadella) without cheese. Instead, I got cheese melted on so it can't be removed, 3 slices pepperoni, and 3 slices salami. Where's the capicola and mortadella? The lettuce was incredibly sparse, barely 2 tablespoons across the entire sub. Two paper-thin slices of tomato.Food: 1/5
The hours aren't fabulous, but the sandwiches are addictive and last time I was at this location, Jamie was working all stations alone and kicking butt while still being lovely. I could not have been so graceful solo in a lunch rush. Give Jamie a raise
The sandwich was warm and fresh. I really enjoy the sandwiches here. The local soda options from St. Louis are excellent. I have no complaints; I've been here several times. I've brought customers from out of town, and they all love the food.
Guy at the dealership raved about this place. I found it average. Root beer wasn't too good. Sandwiches are just ok. I mean not a bad option for lunch but I wouldn't be excited about going back.Food: 4/5

The prices are decent, and the food is satisfactory, but the atmosphere could use some improvement. I appreciate an open space, but I felt like everyone around was eavesdropping on my conversation.
This place has some very good food. With non stop flow of people ordering food they still got my order within 10 minutes. Totally recommend this place and I'll be coming back.
