Sonargaon Tandoori

My visit here was accompanied by 15 work colleagues as a reward for a job well done. Some of my colleagues have been to this restaurant before but, for me it was a new one I was keen to try. On arrival, we were met by the really friendly staff who showed us to our tables. The decor of the place was clean and fresh, and our tables were immaculately set. Once everyone had arrived, the staff went through our starters, and everyone was happy with that choice, then ordered drinks and poppadoms. Service has gone right down hill here… we have been using Sanargaon for over 15 year and have always rated it.. best Indian. But ordered a delivery as normal was waiting and messed around on phone as was huffed at for paying by card and they said would call back and hung up.. about 20 mins later I ended up calling them back and the man on other end phone quite abruptly said would call back.. about 30-45 mins to pay.. then half order was missing..called up and all I got was.. we have not charged you for it.. Sorry to say we will be looking for another Indian takeaway

Food is always absolutely delicious, never had a bad meal here . Only slight issue was the wait times however they said sorry with a free bottle of red wine. But the staff are so friendly and this is a hidden gem in Cambridgeshire .

A warm welcome. Pappad very fresh relish tray outstandingly good. Chicken korma was tasty fruity and lamb dhansak great with fresh mango as opposed to usual tinned pineapple! Great value and well worth a trip out Réservez une table maintenant

We had a really great meal and evening last Saturday night, the Naga chilli chicken was outstanding and I would recommend the Sonargoan special chicken breast, well worth a visit, keep it up guys, thank you all.

Excellent food truly delicious. So well presented and lovely staff. Exceptionally good value too for an outstanding meal . Will most definitely be returning soon
