Song Fang Khong Lao and Thai Restaurant is a cozy neighborhood gem that packs a punch in flavor. Located in Sydney, it offers authentic Isaan cuisine that is both traditional and unpretentious. The food is fantastic, and I encourage you to trust your instincts and give this place a try!
This cozy little spot offers fantastic food! I enjoy visiting regularly; each time I do, the dishes are served quickly, and the service is attentive. The only downside is that seating near the wall can feel a bit cramped, but you’ll soon forget about it once the delicious food arrives!
This is an amazing small Lao Thai restaurant in Fairfield. We tried the crispy fried rice with pickled pork, ox tongue, and pipis with a deep-fried egg for dessert. It was a lot of food for two people, so we shared. They do not accept credit cards. The food was very good.
Song Fang Khong is one of two discreet Lao/Thai in the lane next to each other. Locals have their favourite, known by their relative position rather than their names, “I like the one of the left” or “nah, I reckon the one on the right is better”. Réservez une table maintenant
Fantastic Lao Isan food! Our regular family favourite in a slightly hidden location. Portions are generous and great value. Flavour is amazing and a great alternative to the many surrounding Thai restaurants. We always enjoy eating here.
I really enjoyed the crispy roasted rice with roasted pork and stir-fried pippies at this restaurant. The ox tongue was a little chewy, but not tough. The staff was friendly and competent, although there were limited seats available.
This place is hardcore authentic laos/thai and sits on a quiet lane across the road from the club. People that dine here are locals and has a a great menu. i highly recommend the fried chicken and noodle soup.
