My sister and I were early for lunch so had a coffee, I've had worse. The waitress came by and let us know that they were now taking orders for lunch ( 11.45). Our order was taken 5 minutes later. 12.40 we are still waiting for a warm chicken salad and fish burger. I was astounded when finally the food arrived and my salad was limp, could be the microwaving and just disgusting. Lots of walnuts, one minuscule piece of pumpkin and I couldn't find the chicken. The one piece of pumpkin was a dried up days old offering. Absolutely Disgusted, went there this morning for a nice Sunday breakfast. Walked in and it was busy but not full was asked what coffee we liked and ordered. Started to notice other tables around us that had been waiting for a while for their food. After a 50 minute wait we called one of the waitresses over as no one had bothered to come and check if we were ok or if we wanted anymore coffee... asked the girl to check on our meal to be told they had not even cooked it yet! For a seaside venue in a prime location I expected so much more. The restaurant furniture is so cheap and nasty, the decore is awful and the ambience, well there's none of that! A lady who I presume is the owner reluctantly showed us to a table and everything just seemed as if it was too much bother. The food was very below par and way over priced for the sizing and quality. Also the restaurant was filthy with no air con and the toilets were disgraceful. Honestly, don't waste your time or money coming here, it is appalling. Also, a message to the old skinny lady who I presume owns it, DONT SIT OUTSIDE SMOKING DIRECTLY NEXT TO THE NO SMOKING SIGN as my children and I don't appreciate having... I dare you to eat at this place. It would be better to just throw your money in the ocean. I have never felt so ripped off. Staff aren't very welcoming, wrong drink given. Paid $30 for a piece of barramundi and the garnish of fennel was gross. Could have used a salad or mash/chips option instead of the fennel, didn't even have lemon on the side:( Meals took a long time and staff didnt check on the group once. Its so overpriced!
