It's important to recognize that when dining here, you're paying for the ambiance, the stunning views, and high-quality food, which is why it's a bit pricier than some other places. The view is absolutely breathtaking; it truly exceeded my expectations. We began our meal with the scallops, which featured three large bacon-wrapped scallops—delicious! For our main courses, we both opted for the 16oz ribeyes cooked medium rare. I was pleasantly surprised by how perfectly they were prepared, especially since this place isn’t primarily known as a steakhouse. However, the atmosphere fell a bit short of expectations, which is why I rated it a 3. On the plus side, there is plenty of free parking available, making it convenient for diners.
We started with bruschetta topped with goat cheese, which was delicious. We also ordered asparagus for the table, but that turned out to be a poor choice as it had a repetitive flavor. The service was a bit slow once the restaurant became crowded, although the food came out quickly. Unfortunately, the tofu was quite disappointing—really just not good at all. On the plus side, the prices are reasonable compared to those on the West Coast, which is a definite plus! The views during sunset from certain spots in the restaurant are absolutely stunning. I'd consider coming back just for the view, but not necessarily for the food.
Finding parking was a nightmare. They really need to put up stop signs and no right turn signs in the underground parking area, as several cars were going the wrong way. The prices of the food didn't match its quality at all; the food was below average. The wicker chairs on the terrace were uncomfortable, and the tables were wobbly. There was very little lighting, and the lights on the umbrellas started to dim shortly after we arrived. We waited over an hour for our food to be served. Delicious food. Did not have fresh grouper that you can get at any other location on the beach and their catch of the day was an Alaskan halibut?? Not sure how that counts as catch of the day... Steaks are a la carte and very pricey for what you get. I guess you are paying for the view more than the food. Food: 3 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 5
My family and I went for brunch on a Sunday. The view is great and the restaurant makes a full spin in about an hour and so you will have a chance to see the 360 view. BUT, the food is blah. If you are ok spending $40 per person for a continental quality breakfast that is what you will get. The staff is extremely friendly though.
Amazing sunset and delicious food! I absolutely loved the hot honey butternut squash and would highly recommend it. Service was excellent, and I dined in for dinner. The price per person was around $30–50. Don’t miss the Key Lime Pie and Garlic Shrimp Scampi—both were outstanding!
