Visited with family (5 people) at lunch time (12pm). Their food choices were great, unless you have dietary issues, they cater to Lactose and Gluten issues (1-2 options), but not Fructose friendly (chips are battered, for a start). The food was delicious, the portions weren't over the top. We had burgers, fish and chips and nachos - all were spot on. Acoustics are awesome - you can barely hear the table behind you talking, background conversations are a low murmur (even when its packed) you can talk normally without having to worry about being heard - great eating place to take someone with a hearing difficulty (my family includes the hard of hearing).Main complaint: Hard to find a table - g...
Perched on a hill-top in the Arboretum, the views from the beautifully stylish building with all sorts of wood imagery makes a stunning venue for café and restaurant. We only tried the café for lunch but were well pleased with what we received. A good...range of tasty burger-type meals with drinks hot cold, including alcoholic. Meals were 'order and pay ' at the counter and buzzed when ready for pick-up. Staff were all user-friendly and gluten-free was easy. The fact that the Arboretum grew from a burned-out paddock makes the whole experience even more amazing.
We stopped to see the beautiful bird and lovely gift shop and decided to have lunch. Location is pay first pick up food type but I thought food was good. Location is air-conditioned. Parking is very easy and place is totally handicap accessible. I had...a spinach and feta cheese pie and my husband had a hamburger. Both were quite tasty. Service was quick and there were plenty of seats inside. If you want a good bite that’s quick I say stop in!
I really enjoyed this restaurant. However, I was disappointed that they didn't have regular milk for my tea and found it to be too expensive. The teacups didn't have handles and the seating was uncomfortable. I'm saddened to see that it has closed, so I won't be returning.

Been in Canberra 7 years and this place never ceases to disappoint. Bad coffee, food overpriced and average and staff who could not care less. Not their fault, just bad management. Please change management so this glorious destination is not soured by the experience here.
The restaurant offers stunning views of the valley and hills, surrounded by a lush, well-maintained environment. It's the perfect spot to enjoy a delicious meal with friends. The food is well-prepared and tasty, with a menu that is simple yet satisfying.
The Arboretum is well worth a visit, there are lovely walks and great views. At Sprout some tables outside would be nice. As it was noisy inside we sat on a bench outside. The chicken Caesar was very tasty.
we had only coffee and cake here and everything was in order. the place is very busy as there are many customers. many seating and also with high ceilings it is a very inviting space to be.

We dined at The Nac and the food was excellent. The service and amenities were top-notch. The incredible view was absolutely stunning.
Was very busy. Had to order at counter, and there was a long line..so took some time. But views outside were great.
