I generally don't have issues with anyone or anything, but this morning, the drive-thru employee was really rude. She handed me a hot drink when I specifically asked and paid for a cold one. She said, "Oh, I didn't hear that part," then ignored me and seemed annoyed. I apologized and mentioned that I didn't mean to complicate things, but she continued to ignore me. When I finally received my drink, I reminded her that I had paid for extra caramel drizzle. She responded that there was already caramel in it and quickly said, "Thanks, bye."
Staff is rude. Sara had messed up multiple orders. When I finally decided to inform her of this and express my irritation, another employee told me to hold my attitude because they're busy and working through it. They weren't busy. There were three orders waiting and two people in line. Drive the extra distance and visit the Starbucks physical location or Kroger location. The staff is light-years beyond this location.
I've had a few disappointing experiences at Starbucks when they have promotions like 50% off. Each time, the staff seemed unaware of the offers and charged me the full price. When I pointed out the promotion, they informed me that they couldn't refund the difference. This has happened to me twice now, and it's left me feeling let down.
April 2022 Political Economy aside...what 'great resignation '? This place had 4 ppl on staff this morning! And they were quick, friendly, and professional! I don 't mind paying almost $20 for two coffees and delicacies if everyone makes a living wage...lol said, I was gunna leave Political Economy aside.

This Starbucks is conveniently located just a 15-minute walk from my house, right through the SIU campus. I visit at least twice a week and enjoy my coffee in the student lounge area. The staff is great, the space is clean, and the drinks are consistently good.
It has a great atmosphere. I stopped to grab a drink and the staff helped me out because I'd never been to a Starbucks. They were very friendly and helpful. I guess I have no choice but to come back. ?
Awesome atmosphere, and the shift leads are skilled baristas. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a place to work or study on campus.
People there are not nice at all .compare with any other starbucks it is the worst. I buy from there because I don't have choice
