we met Stefano and his wife Gabbi in a local bar one evening and struck up a conversation. On learning that Stefano ran an Italian restaurant I mentioned that I struggled with the local Italian restaurants as all they served was pizza and pasta and, as i require gluten free food, I was unable to eat in them. Stefano was quick to offer to cook me a gluten free meal, telling me that he needed a couple of days notice to buy in gluten free pasta, or if I preferred, he could make me a risotto to order any time - this was not on the menu but as all food is cooked fresh there, it was not a problem to make me whatever I wanted.
