I have been visiting this location for many years. Most of the time they are OK, but there have been some not so good ones too. My most recent was one in a very bothersome way. I wanted to try the new supreme meat sandwich. This is suppose to have ham, pepperoni, salami, and capicola. Instead, I was told that ham, turkey, and salami were the only allowed meats. I filed an online feedback form. I was never contacted by corporate or the franchisee. I called the shop and they refused to put me in touch with the franchisee. In addition, I mailed a letter to corporate and never received an answer. I also noted a sign that said only the sandwiches listed on it could be gotten with Subway coupons....
The OLD guy from Pakistan serving the customers these days in this subway is very rude and crazy… I asked him to divide a footlong into 2 and he can charge me for two 6 inches, but he taunted saying that he doesn’t have time!!!If he doesn’t have time for the customers then why is he serving in a restaurant!!!!Never a positive experience with this restaurant. PLEASE AVOID if you don’t want a cold experience.
No matter where you go, Subway always offers the same subs, cookies, chips, and beverages. So, what truly makes a difference? It's the attitude and friendliness of the staff. I was impressed by the staff here and their excellent service. They are all so friendly, efficient, and even humorous. That's why I keep coming back to this place.

I waited in line for 20 minutes during the busy lunch hour, with only one server struggling to keep up. There were no apologies for the long wait. It was frustrating, especially in downtown where people are on the go. They definitely need more help.
Got the same sandwich I ordered at another subway. Service was gruff and the modicum that should have been provided was not. Server seemed to be bothered that he had to wait on me. Poor service.Food: 3/5
Extremely overpriced food, guy behind the counter which I believe is the owner is not very friendly at all. The veggies are wilted and the lettuce was reddish brown.Food: 2/5
The guy downtown hartford subway is very rude he is a Indian guy he's very rude and disrespectful never eat there I give them a 1 how about anything 0

One of the best Subways I’ve been to in Hartford. Staff is v friendly and their bread is perfectly baked.
