I have been coming to Sumo for my salmon avocado sushi and miso soup for years, they were alway fresh and tasty and the staff friendly, a bit slow with the orders if you order a hot meal. Since the arrival of other sushi outlets in the centre Sumo has dropped the price of their sushi from $2.50 to $ 2 which is good, the only problem they do not have a large selection of rolls since the special offer. I bought my granddaughter Kasimir and she enjoyed here meal.The shop is at the food court.
The place look good so i got some sushi rolls and it was average.i don't know if it was me had bad luck got the chewy seaweed roll and it's a bit dry.and the waitress didn't ask me if i want wasabi or gave me any.price dropped relatively cheap $2 per roll as there are plenty sushi shop opened here. Will try other hot dishes and see if it's better.
Sumo is a food stall located in the food court at Helensvale Westfield mall. As a vegetarian, my choices are limited when eating here. However, I recently tried the vegetarian fried rice at Sumo and found it to be delicious - it was spicy, fresh, and not too oily.
I got sushi here today. Took one bite and threw the rest out. The seaweed was limp and it looked like it was made several days ago. I hope I don't get food poisoning. Also the service was really slow. Réservez une table maintenant

This restaurant is not authentic Japanese cuisine. They are cutting corners and the food tastes terrible. The management is indifferent and lacks concern for customer satisfaction.
The sushi at this restaurant is consistently delicious! The staff is friendly and the dim sum is also fantastic. I am never disappointed, in fact, I am always impressed!
These aren't your mama's eggs or French Toast Every dish was delish. Andy came around multiple times to make sure everything was top notch. Réservez une table maintenant
