My first time going to the Surf Taco and last. I purchased a combo with two tacos, chips, fountain drink, rice and beans. My taco choices were chicken and shrimp. So starting with the chicken taco, the meat tasted charred and burned but was still somehow cold?! It had adequate fixings but they just couldn't mask the terrible taste of the meat and the shrimp taco was just as bad. Something about the shrimp just tasted off and there was way too much cabbage maybe to hide the shrimp taste? I felt like I was having a cabbage taco. Also way to much money for that quality of food. I was so excited to finally have lunch at one of my favorite places to stop when at the beach. Since I don't live in the area, it's been a few years since I had the opportunity to stop in. Was disappointed that they no longer have the Baja bowl on the menu. I chose the Malibu veggie bowl instead. My order was to go, so I'm not sure what the temp was when it was picked up.
