I would rate this restaurant a 2.5 out of 5. I looked for buffets nearby and I'm not sure why this place was recommended to me. It's primarily an all-you-can-eat Chinese-style sushi restaurant where you place your order by writing down the quantities on a photocopy sheet. Unfortunately, they got my order wrong both times, even though my requests were clearly written. The sushi and sashimi we ordered were fresh, but overall, the taste was just average. I believe visiting during the week offers better value since the weekend prices didn’t feel worth it. This is still one of the best all-you-can-eat sushi places around. The selection of appetizers is excellent, and their short ribs are among the finest I've had—marinated and grilled to perfection. Many of the sushi rolls are incredibly fresh. The only reason I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is that, like other all-you-can-eat sushi spots, they occasionally forget items from your order. They also offer unlimited sake, and you can bring your own alcohol. The service is great, though they do tend to be a bit understaffed, which explains why some dishes might be missed. Overall, it’s definitely worth every penny!
Just take a look at my photo; it really speaks for itself. I wish I had listened to my friend who warned me that this place was terrible a decade ago. I’ve only been here for 25 minutes, and this has been the most disgusting sushi I’ve ever tasted in my life. One of the sushi rolls had a shiny appearance while the other looked like cat food, and the flavor was just as bad. The only redeeming things were the wine I brought and the spring rolls. I strongly advise against coming here. Of course, it doesn’t really affect my life if you decide to go, but consider this a warning: this place is the absolute worst.
Sushi Time has been around for a long time. It's decent for what it is. Basically you get a slip of paper, you choose what you want and mark off how many you want. It is hit or miss here. Sometimes it's really on point and other times it's very lackluster but it's an all you can eat place, so I'll take it. Service can be quick or dreadfully slow, and has nothing to do with the amount of people there. The interior could use some updating, there have been no changes over the last eight or so years. I hope they stick around and make a couple of tweaks, would be a shame to lose them! Réservez une table maintenant
This place is the cheapest AYCE sushi place we have encountered in Long Island! Also, it's BYOB so we brought two bottles of wine. The Babylon roll was surprisingly good. Never had anything like it at any other AYCE sushi restaurants. It primarily consists of chicken and cream cheese, and then gets deep fried so the inside is warm and gooey. If you want a bang for your buck, I would recommend coming here ;p
I was initially unsure about trying the Filet Mignon Special Roll, as I worried it might be too heavy if there was too much steak. However, it turned out to be absolutely DELICIOUS! The steak was just the right amount and was fantastic. I always enjoy ordering from this place. I would give more stars if I could!
