Hello Hunny Bees!!! It's your girl Hunny with a review of another local small business. First of all . I had a doctor's appointment and decided afterwards to take my son to lunch. I googled restaurants near me and this was 8 min away so we go!!! Upon entering I received the most wonderful greeting y'all. From a server who wasn't even the hostess!!! She was checking out someone cause she had their credit card in her hand. You know I love great customer service!!! She said someone will be right with me so me and Nigel start looking around. The food is always amazing here, usually has great service but yesterday not so much. My waitress took forever to take my order. she passed by me numerous times before acknowledging me. A simple I will be with you in a moment would 've been nice. I got no refills on water and she didn 't check on me to see if I needed anything. I understand it was busy last night but you still have to check on your tables though. It was 5mins from our hotel. It is not 5 star dining but it felt like it was. We come in a it was packed. People are always returning to this place. I got the red bean coconut stew with the side of white rice and mokimo (I took the mokimo based on the other review on this site) It was sooo delicious, warm, I gobbled it up in 5mins. I don't know if anything else on the side menu was vegan but if I could, I would take the same thing over and over. The portion is big too. It's best to come with an empty stomach.

The food was amazing the wait not so much! We placed our order right away. After 30 minutes the waitress said our order would be up any minute. Several people around us including a large party revived their food prior to us. After 45 minutes we were told it would be another 10. Had we not been visiting from out of town and not now of other dining options we would have left and gone elsewhere. Réservez une table maintenant

My family and I tried the lentil stew, red bean stew with plantains, and Mokimo at this restaurant and we absolutely loved it! The portions were huge, so make sure to come hungry. None of us were able to finish our plates. We would definitely go back for more.

We really enjoyed the red bean coconut stew with plantains and rice. My husband ordered the vegan lentil stew with cabbage, which he loved. The customer service was outstanding!
