After eating here a few times, I have concluded that the food is way too expensive for what you’re getting. The food had arrived cold. Not satisfied, not worth it.I ordered an omelette and it looks like they used a dozen eggs to make the omelette, which probably explains the price. I felt like I was served an egg cake, I couldn’t even finish it. Bacon was hard and cold.I will say that the macarons are delicious and they are the only reason I gave 2 stars. Box of 6 for $13… might just get them elsewhere.I really wanted to like this place, it looks so cute, the baked goods look delicious, and the location is perfect. However, they are lacking taste and are very overpriced.
Sweet Kitchen has a kiosk location at the Willowbrook Mall. The staff there are really kind and friendly. I am a regular and they tend to know what I want to order. They have the best hot chocolate I have ever had at a cafe! They have great macarons and sandwiches as well. I have seen them cut up fruits to put into water that they sell. It is really pretty how they make them. They make great smoothies too. I hope to go to the location in Montclair one day! I am sure they are just as wonderful.
I went to go to the Dunkin on Bloomfield Ave in Montclair, but found out it was closed. Starbucks looked like it had a line outside so I popped over to Sweet Kitchen. The place was spotless. My first time ordering an iced Carmel Latte here, and it was one of the best lattes I have ever enjoyed. Third time was the charm. I will enjoy a Latte here for the couple of days until I flu home. They also had a ton of sample treats to try at the counter another bonus !!! Highly recommend !!!
Our waitress took our order and when a different group of people walked in, she told us we had to get up from our seats and move. I have never experienced being moved rudely like this due to lack of seating when we arrived FIRST, before the other people. They had 4 people and we had 2 (we were sitting at a 4 person table because every other table was in the sun), so they demanded we moved. The waitress was extremely rude and we will not be coming back.

This is a fantastic place to get a variety of items including coffee, tasty brownies, muffins, cinnamon rolls (all made in-house), tasty and healthy salads, crepes, breakfast, and lunches. The customer service is amazing and the overall atmosphere is great. If you're looking for a simple and fantastic breakfast, lunch, or coffee/tea, this is the place to go!
This cafe in the center of the city is great. The staff is very friendly and there is plenty of space both inside and outside. They offer a wide selection of coffee drinks, as well as many baked goods and desserts. The lunch and dinner menu is limited, featuring soups and sandwiches. It's a wonderful place to meet up with friends.
Sweet kitchen is absolutely worth your time to stop in for one of their excellent brunches. The quality of the food, composition and incredibly friendly service punches well above it's weight. These reasons, the atmosphere and the covid safe environment keep me coming back whenever I can.
I absolutely adore this restaurant! My favorite dishes are the green smoothie, turkey sandwich, Neapolitan dessert, and heavenly chocolate cake. The service is top-notch with everyone being so polite and friendly. I highly recommend it.
