Two Stars. Ambiance Location/Parking. Came to Patronize this restaurant after being told great things from other walkers at Stone Mountain. Before going, we checked Google for hours of operation, menu, etc. Closing time was stated at 8pm. We arrived, straight from St. Mt at 2:25pm. There was a sign on the door that says closed from 4-5pm and ToGo orders only from 3-4pm. The couple who told us about the restaurant were sitting as well (couldn 't have gotten there more than 10 minutes prior to us, as we left at the same time) and they were able to get seated. If ToGo orders are going to start at 2:30, then the sign should say 2:30pm. Even after leaving, there was a lady on the front porch who...
I went with my Mom and I got their pulled pork sandwich and she got the black bean burger, and we shared the crab and spinach artichoke dish, which was great but really small considering it was $11. However, about three bites into my pulled pork sandwich, I felt something hard in my mouth. I was curious, so I pulled it out my mouth. Turns out it was a bread tie. Needless to say my Mother and I were very disgusted. We left and did not have to pay for anything. The waiter was nice though. The man whom we spoke to- assuming he’s the owner- admitted he was unsure how it could have happened and was apologetic about the situation.
My server was a girl named Jaylon she was nice ...I went because I remember a post from when a friend went.....it's so compact I had to change tables it was a group of seniors there they were trying to pay they lined up very close to were i was seated .....I don't understand why they had to line up to pay as opposed to the waitress taking there tab and returning it to the table. The meatloaf was like ground beef with tomato sauce on it. Everyone I'm sure has different experiences mine just wasn't the best.
Key-Lime-Cake That's all I went there for which is the best ever anywhere. That turned into can't come to Sweet Potato Cafe and not try the sweet potato pecan loaf it was a mouth watering experience that would have you trynna catch your drool so you don't waste a thought of the sensation. Key-Lime-Cake I didn't try the food because I went for the cake and had already had my food sadly so I'm not rate anything I didn't experience Service: Take out

The food was really good. Not a big fan of the mashed potatoes but the fish and red cabbage was delicious. The atmosphere is really cozy but the wait staff was so pleasant and efficient. WOW best fries I've ever tasted. Crispy sweet potatoes appetizer was amazing. The stuffed sweet potatoes unbelievable. And the pumpkin banana bread dessert was so thick and delicious. Definitely coming back!! Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
