We recently threw my daughter a 2nd birthday party. We had a beautiful cake for the celebration, which we did not order from Sydney 's Sweets. Last year, for my daughter 's 1st birthday we did order from Sydney 's. The cake I ordered was a 3 tier cake with a summer-theme that was priced at $500. In detail, I discussed with the manager/owner what I wanted the cake to look like. I have been waiting to go to Sydney sweets as she won the great food Network bake off. She held up under pressure and won the whole competition and absolutely the right outcome. If you visit her bake shop which is small and quaint you can sit at a few little tables in order from several tasty items. It has limited hours because she does mostly custom work now but I will tell you this is one of the best carrot cakes I ever had and I've been to Lloyd's in Manhattan. The coconut cake has bits of pineapple in it and an outstanding moist cake. The cake pops and cupcakes are also very good. My mom recently collaborated with Sydney for my Teddy Bear-themed baby shower. As a first-time mom, I wanted everything to be spectacular and extravagant, and when I came across Sydney's Instagram months ago, I knew she was the perfect choice! Sydney's cake and dessert table exceeded all my expectations. The attention to detail and craftsmanship were truly stunning, and everything tasted amazing. The cake was perfectly moist without being overly sweet, and the treats on the dessert table vanished in no time.
