Tachibana in McLean offers excellent sushi and fish dishes. The chirashi and dinner box A with chicken and salmon are pictured here. The dinner box is very filling and even includes a California roll. The miso soup is top-notch. The service is outstanding, with prompt seating, water service, and quick food delivery. I highly recommend Tachibana to anyone in the area. Parking is available in a free lot, but it tends to fill up quickly since it is shared with Peter Chang.
Easily the best Japanese in the DMV. There are lots of five star reviews for the sushi and sashimi, and they are excellent, but the rest of the menu is even better. Try the tempura, or a fish shioyaki style, or a rice or noodle bowl. They also have excellent fresh made onigiri. One of only three places in the US that make me feel like I am in Osaka.
Got some recommendations for this place while visiting DC. Definitely worth a stop we waited 20 mins for a table. Tried the fried soft shell crab, and scallops and the sashimi special was awesome. The uni and salmon row bowl was the best thing we had tonight.

Excellent food, excellent service. It was worth the almost 1 hour wait to be seated. The two things I wanted was already out of stock however. Be sure to get there in time.
We celebrated our anniversary with dinner at this restaurant and were extremely impressed with the amazing food and service. We will definitely be returning in the future.
