I love their tuna melts. Their staff can be abrasive and rude at times, though. On one occasion extremely rude, calling my dad crazy for suggesting their bread from a local bakery was sliced to a different thickness (it was). Extremely rude. Also brushing us off for other complaints, like raw eggs in a breakfast meal. Scrambled eggs that were hardly cooked. Awful, and it took some arm twisting to get it fixed.Love the tuna melts. But it's almost not worth going back with how rude the staff have been on several occasions to who used to be regulars.

Food was ok. I didn’t like how a staff treated a homeless guy who was asking for water or to use the washroom. She was plain rude and yelled at the old homeless guy. It made me lose mu appetite because being kind wouldn’t cost you anything. She screamed at the nice dude who asked to use the washroom and even threatened to call the police. Told my partner not to leave a tip.Parking: Parking is just in-front of the restaurant.

I ordered the combo with 2 pancakes, hashbrowns, 1 egg, and 3 sausages. The pancakes were delightful, each the size of a dinner plate and quite filling. I managed to finish every last bite, surprising both the staff and myself! The waitress made my day by crafting a congratulations badge out of Post-it notes that said, "You did it!" It was both funny and sweet. Thank you for a wonderful experience today!

We experienced slow and unsatisfactory service during our visit. The waitress who attended to us also served four other customers who arrived after us. The food was quite average, and the coffee was weak and lacked flavor. We will not be coming back.

Today's soup was Creamy chicken cauliflower, and usually cream soups have me driving home fast from gut pain but this was delicious and made from scratch! Absolutely best diner food in Nanaimo. Service friendly, atmosphere safe and cozy.

This is a fantastic spot to gather with friends for breakfast. The mini breakfast option is an excellent value, allowing you to choose your eggs, meat, and bread.

Great breakfast , love the hashbrowns, and the breakfast sausages are excellent .Friendly service . One down side , they didn't have Worcestershire sauce. Réservez une table maintenant
