Taqueria Los Jarochos

I'm not sure why the tacos are great one day, with fresh meat, but the next day, three out of the four tacos have overcooked meat. It doesn’t make any sense. I paid a premium for these tacos, only to find them disappointing. I had to keep spitting out tough, unpleasant pieces. This used to be my favorite taco spot, but the quality has really declined. It felt like I was served leftover burnt meat from previous customers. Is this because I'm white? My Spanish friends never have issues with burnt meat; they always get perfectly cooked, fresh tacos. It’s frustrating.

I ordered three shrimp tacos, three chicken tacos, three carne asada tacos, and the quesabirria. Overall, they were quite good, but there were a couple of issues. The carne asada was well-seasoned, but it was a bit too burnt and fatty for my taste. Additionally, the consommé lacked flavor and didn't complement the quesabirria as well as I expected. Despite these drawbacks, everything else was still very enjoyable, so I will definitely give this place another try!

I ordered the Birria trio tacos, which came with a bowl of beef broth for dipping that really enhanced the flavors. The only drawback was the loud music, making it difficult to hold a conversation. On the bright side, tacos are just $1.99 on Tuesdays and Saturdays, so be sure to plan your visit around that! Service: Dine-in, Meal type: Lunch.

This is a permanent taco truck. While the atmosphere is lacking, that’s not the reason to visit. The food is always outstanding, and the service is quick and friendly. Having lived in Southern California for decades, I can confidently say this is as close as you can get to the flavors of the Southwest. Food: 5/5 Réservez une table maintenant

The location might be a bit unappealing for some, but the food absolutely makes up for it. My only issue was that the horchata I received seemed like it had been sitting out for a while. Despite mixing it well, it ended up tasting mostly like water, and I only noticed this after I had left. Food: 5/5.

The food here is excellent and reasonably priced. I ordered takeout for lunch, and the cost per person was between $10 and $20. I would rate the food, service, and atmosphere all at 4 out of 5. I highly recommend trying the Pollo Taco!

This is the go-to spot for tacos! I've tried others in the area, but none come close. I highly recommend it. The Al Pastor tacos are amazing every single time and the prices are very reasonable. Food: 5/5

The tamarind drink is fantastic, and the service is excellent! Kid-friendly options include both booth and table seating. The restaurant is wheelchair accessible as it is located on the ground level. Réservez une table maintenant
